Can’t wait! Already planning my route across Canada……..’Sea to Sea in February’ woohoo
That’s great! Think about taking this walk to reap the benefits of a group walk and learn a few things about the USA. Maybe the next competition could be a walk across Canada? If you are in, complete the registration form.
I’m in! I’ll be doing my miles on the treadmill at the gym in the AM.
I’ll be doing mine mostly on a treadmill too! This 56 degree weather we’re having in upstate NY isn’t going to last! Thanks for joining in!
I’m in!
However, I’m a little confused about how this is being done. Will we be walking on a treadmill in front of our computers and accessing a walking website of our neighborhood? Will our miles be logged using the honor system? Will we be walking on a bike path that shows mile markers? Please clarify.
Good luck to everyone! See you “on the road”!
-Phyllis
You won’t need to be in front of a computer. You can do this anywhere you want…in a gym, in your home, in your neighborhood. It’s all an honor system.
Once you reach a milestone you’ll have a link to see the place you virtually walked to and learn a few things about it if you want also. You’ll have more information soon.
Thanks for joining in!
I’m in, baby! Perfect timing! We’ll be walking in springtime weather very soon!
Yes we will! Did you fill out and submit the registration form yet Phillis?
I submitted my registration form..now I am waiting for this great walk!!! I have said it before, what a fantastic idea, thank you Linda for the hard work you have put into this, it is awesome!!!
Thank you Londa and it’s my pleasure! There’s nothing like a little competition for us all to get moving! It should be a great incentive for us all!
Thanks for signing up!
I’m in!! I can’t wait to start, this is so exciting!
Great! Very happy to have you in the group! Thanks for signing up!
I’m very anxious to see the route – been to a few states, Florida, NY, NJ, OH, PA. Need to ‘see’ more of the U.S.! And, I’m sure I’ll have to prepare a spreadsheet of some kind for myself too (yeah, I’m one of those).
I’ll have a really nice spreadsheet for you to go with your milestone list. You’ll have the in a couple of days.
I’m in!! I can’t wait to get started. I’ll be doing the treadmill thing, here, too. Thanks for putting this together, Linda.
Great Margo! Happy to have you included!
Putting this together was a no brainer. All of us can use a little help in the motivation department at times. Thanks for signing up!
Ooo… will our spreadsheets have a place to add photos? If I can get myself onto the bike path, or other outdoor areas, I’d love to be able to share my walks with the rest of you.
No, but you can Photoshop them and I’ll post them! That’s a great idea Phyllis!
Linda, I’m working on a surprise for you, but I want to get KA’s approval first. I can’t wait to show you (all of you, actually)! Did you get my email about it?
I love surprises Phyllis! Can’t wait!
Thanks Linda -I got my confirmation e-mail. This works out great for me, because these last week I’ve been having a hard time getting back on track. the only good thing is that I’m still eating healthier and staying away from sweets. NOW- I am gonna get back to walking, thanks to you, girly!!!
