The next GET OFF YOUR ASS & GETTA MOVIN’ contest starts
Saturday April 17, 2010!
This fitness contest will involve many different exercises and is based on the amount of time a participant physically does an exercise. It doesn’t matter if you’re exercising at home or at the gym; it all counts! Everyone who officially completes 100 hours by June 17th will receive a certificate of completion via email. The certificate can be printed and proudly displayed for all your family and friends to see! For added fun there will be prizes along the way that everyone can compete for! What will the biggest prize for all of us be? We’ll lose weight, be healthier, feel good, AND LOOK GOOD DOING IT! Combine the 100 hours with eating healthy and watching our diet…OMG there is just no stopping us! @kirstiealley will be amazed at our accomplishment!
You can log your workouts at your won private personalized link as you do them through out your day or you can accumulate them and enter the total all at one time. In other words, if you exercise 3 times in the same day you can enter each event as you complete them or if its the same exercise, such as walking, then you can just enter the grand total for the day.
Example 1:
6:30am Walking (Fast) 0.5 hours (30 minutes)
12:00pm Bike 1.0 hours
7:00pm Yoga 1.25 hours (1 hour 15 minutes)
Example 2:
6:30am Walking (Fast) 0.5 hours (30 minutes)
12:00pm Walking (Fast) 1.0 hours
7:00pm Walking (Fast) 1.25 hours (1 hour 15 minutes)
Total: Walking (Fast) 2.75 hours (2 hours 15 minutes)
Like I said, there will be many different exercises to choose from when entering your daily stats. For example:
- Walking (Slow) (This is good for a specific optimum heart rate to burn fat and not sugar)
- Walking (Fast)
- Walking (Power)
- Jogging
- Running
- Bicycle
- Bike (Stationary)
- Bike (Spin)
- Elliptical
- Glider
- Stair Climber
- Stairs
- Treadclimber
- Weights
- Yoga
- Aerobics
- Zumba
- Pilates
- Wii Fit
- P90X
- Swimming
- Pool Aerobics
- Stretch Bands
- Jump Rope
- Old School (Jumping Jacks, Chin Ups, Push Ups, etc.)
- Sit Ups
- Crunches
- Lunges
- Stretching
- Exercise Video (Please List) ______________________________
- Other (Please List) ______________________________
…and any other exercises I can think of.
Stats will be collected, tracked and results posted on this blog daily so you can see where you stand against all the others!
So are you ready to get serious and do something for yourself? Are you ready to have your ass ridden on those days you’re just being lazy? Are you willing to return the favor? I have those days too!
